Swatwa Upkram
Identity, Awareness & Nation-Building for Students
Vision Behind the Initiative
Today’s students are intelligent and technologically advanced, yet many lack deep cultural awareness and clarity about India’s journey and achievements. Without strong identity and inspiration, direction often becomes superficial.
Swatwa Upkram is designed to reconnect students with their cultural roots while preparing them for a progressive future.
Objective
To instill Indian identity, national pride, self-awareness, and positive social responsibility among students from Grade 7 to Grade 9.
Methodology
• Collaboration with schools across Thane
• Structured one-hour awareness sessions
• Slide-based presentations highlighting India’s achievements in:
• Arts
• Sports
• Science & Research
• Economy
• Social reform
• Cultural heritage
• Experience-based learning models
• Interactive discussions instead of passive delivery
Students are encouraged to ask questions, reflect, and connect historical and modern achievements to their own aspirations.
Role Model Awareness
Special emphasis is placed on introducing students to inspiring Indian personalities from diverse fields — helping them see practical examples of dedication, discipline, and contribution.
Technology Integration
Recognizing the influence of digital platforms, Rujawa is developing a dedicated YouTube audio-visual channel featuring:
• Value-driven educational content
• Engaging storytelling formats
• Informative sessions for both students and parents
• Contributions from renowned and emerging artists
The aim is to ensure that technology becomes a tool for awareness rather than distraction.
